A scheduled Board of County Commissioners Public Meeting to listen to Mosaic advocate for land to be rezoned from agricultural to phosphate mining and to hear from citizens concerned with this impact on DeSoto County. This is the second day of the Public Meeting regarding land rezoning from agricultural to phosphate mining.  It is not known if this meeting will take place.  It will depend on the turnout on Tuesday.  There is a 2 hour break between noon and 2pm if it does take place. Word is that the County and Mosaic have agreed on a Special Magistrate but no agreement has been reached with the Magistrate yet.
